This month I have a very short TBR planned for myself, but I am very excited for each one of them.
Lately I have started to pick up some poetry books. Previously I avoided poetry with a passion. I am pretty sure it was because of a librarian who refused to allow me to check out a potty book when I was a young girl. I remember being so mad and thinking to myself,
“Fine then I will never read it and it will be your fault!” Well I hope that lady is no longer a librarian, no one should discourage reading in a child (especially if your mother says it is alright to read).
Has a librarian or someone who works in a bookstore ever say anything like this to you?
