Welcome to the second month of my Read 5, Buy 1! I have to say I am very proud of the progress I have made over the past month and a half of doing this. My TBR is down to ___ amount of books and I have been really selective with the books I have been adding to my TBR. Anyway, here are the books I read and here are the books that I bought!
- The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R Tolkein
- War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
- The Butchering Art by Lindsey Fitzharris
- Mort by Terry Pratchett
- The Green Mile: The Two Dead Girls by Stephen King
- Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
- Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
- Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis
- Death in the Air by Kate Winkler Dawson
- The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
- Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
- Three Women by Lisa Taddeo
What does your TBR look like?
Have you ever done a book buying ban?

It’s awesome that you can do this. I have no shelf (self) control when it comes to buying books.

It is a muscle I am trying to work out. I could never do a full on ban though, I know me. 😂 You could always adapt this and change it to read 5, buy 2 or read 3, buy 1.

I could, but it will likely never happen. I’m horrible. And I buy a lot of the books I read as ARCs, too.

This is such an amazing idea!
I love this idea, it makes my wallet sigh in relief!
My library takes forever to get books in though, so it is a bit hard for me to try this

I am glad you like the idea. My library can be pretty slow with certain genres, but overall pretty good. I hope yours gets better with time!
