Hello everyone and welcome to a tag post! It has been a while since I have done a tag post and thought I would give it a go again. I was tagged by the wonderful Jenna over on JK I’m Exploring, she is a such a wonderful person and she has such a wide array of interesting content. I really do suggest you give her blog a peek. Anyway, on to the tag. P.S. for some reason I have not been getting notifications for tags and the only reason I saw I was tagged was because I read her post, I used to get notified. Super weird!

-The Questions-
- A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
- A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
- A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
- A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
- A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
- A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
- A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
-My Answers-
- A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
- Okay, this one is kinda hard to answer. If I had filled this out a few months ago I would have said Jenna and Reg kept telling me to read Thunderhead
by Neal Shusterman. I was so happy when I did. At this point I don’t really have anyone telling me I need to read a book. If you have any you think I should read, please comment!

- A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
- The oldest book on my TBR is from January of 2019, it isAssassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I do really need to get to this ASAP. I hear such wonderful things about it.
- A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
- The Alienist by Caleb Carr, finished first book.
- Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon, finished books 1-4.
- The Hazel Wood series by Melissa Albert, 1st book read.
- Arc of Scythe by Neal Shusterman, finished books 1-2.
- Dark Tower by Stephen King, finished first book.
- Discworld Series: Death Arc by Terry Pratchett, finished first book.
- A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
- The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is the first book that comes to mind. I feel like it would be a horrific read, but very interesting and thought provoking. The second that comes to mind is Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen because it is one of the few Austen books I have yet to read.
- A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
- I feel like I can say any Victoria Schwab book. I have yet to read any books by her and I feel like I am literally the only one.
- A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
- I can’t say that I have watched an adaptation of a book that I loved and didn’t read the book already. I really cannot think of a single one, I am more of a reader than a watcher though. I could also have easily forgotten about one.
- A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
- I would have to say Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco, I have been seeing this book everywhere lately, but I have yet to pick up even the first book and I feel like it is one I would really like.

I haven’t read anything by Victoria Schwab either. We’ll start our own two-person club!

I read that one, but I never continued and I have no idea why. I feel like there was a book or two after it? I can’t wait to see how you answer the questions!

It is not out just yet, January 7th 2020 is the release date. I just wanted to include it because I plan on continuing it when the book does come out.

Awe you’re way too sweet! I wonder if I’ve been getting tagged in stuff and wordpress not telling me…. whoops. I thought it did tell people! I get notifications when I link back to myself….
Handmaid’s Tale is so good! I think you’ll really like it! City of Ghosts was my favorite Schwab book but I’ve only read that and Vicious.

I oddly got 0 alerts today and I had 5 comments to respond to. I have no idea what is going on. o.0 I hope this doesn’t continue I would feel horrible if someone felt like I ignored them.
I feel like with Schwab I am too late to the party that is in full swing. 😂 I feel like I would like them though. Hopefully one day!

Loved seeing what books you chose for this! I definitely recommend reading the Stalking Jack the Ripper series! It’s so good and pretty quick to get through!
