Hello and welcome to a list or challenge of sorts. I wanted to share some of the many, many books I want to read in 2021. I thought it would be fun at the end of the year to look back and see if I ended up reading this books or if I ended up liking them. I will be completely honest, there is a reread on this list of one of my favorite books so that one I know I will already love. Anyway, on to the books!
The Books

- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey
- The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones
- The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein
- The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton
- Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
- Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb
- Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb
- A Promised Land by Barack Obama
- Carrie by Stephen King
- Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid (Not Pictured-PreOrdered)
What books do you really want to read in 2021?

I hope you enjoy The Devil in the Dark Water if you get around to reading it. I read it not long after it came out last year and really liked it.

Yeah I really liked his last book too. I’ve a feeling Stuart Turton will become an auto-buy author for me.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is also on my list to read 🙂
I really want to read books from authors that I’ve never read before. I’m thinking to start with Anne Brontë, Ernest Hemingway, Elizabeth Gaskell, Edgar Allan Poe… I’m also looking at reading more classics from other places besides UK and USA. Exciting reading months ahead!

Sounds like a really great list and goals! I love reading the International Booker Shortlist every yearn because they are generally outside of those areas.
